Tigert finished second in the race to Lee Cycle’s Jeremy Toye who said he had more “moments” due to the wind during the F1 race and his 600 class races than he’d like to recall.

“That was a lot of work out there with the wind. It was pushing the whole time,” Toye said. “Once all the cones started blowing onto the track, I started thinking yeah, this can’t be happening. That was a whole new element - having to pick a new line with the wind blowing so hard, but also had to pick new lines to dodge the cones. I thought what’s next, is the sky falling?”
