Gearish I have a 1 piece erbo that I think I've basically broken in. After wearing a 2 piece hein gericke that did not fit correctly (pants were way too big and jacket was "ok" size wise but just not right), this suit feels awesome. I lost weight while waiting for it to show up at Helimot's so it's a tad too big but I chose a style that would be easier to downsize.
I have some issues with the liner as it's held in with velco that sees fit to let go and also scratch the hell out of my arms. I'm hoping I can get that fixed somehow, seeing that it's a custom suit and all ... and I've spent a lot, it should be a quality/customer service thing.
I wear Joe Rocket gloves. I've had them for 2 years, they've got the carbon fiber knuckles and all that. They are starting to fall apart. I want to get a new pair of gloves however, female gloves generally aren't made with the nice protective armor that mens are and mens gloves are well, too big. I've been told of some brands that sell smaller sizes but I have to make a trip to SF to get to one of the shops to try them on, so thus far, I've not done so.
I wear Daytona boots. I don't know the model name, but they don't have the special extra hard part to protect the ankles.
I wear an AGV helmet mostly because it was free. I want an Arai Quantum F. Tho' I'm sort of curious about Shoeis.
I don't like to "try" things until I have money to "buy" things.
I bought a backprotector last week. Dainese. I used it at a track day, decided I didn't like it and returned it. I'll probably get a custom one from helimot's. They cost about the same as the Dainese.
I really want a textile 2 piece for commuting. *really* |
