That helmet is out now. It's just not as easy to find as the 700s | |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | The EXO-1000's are not in production. Limited availability is expected in Feb 2008. You can pre-order through KneeDraggers.com - Sportbike Parts, Accessories, and Apparel. The HJC FS-10 has the same shade feature and are in stock for $229.49.

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | Yeah.. Scorpion has even taken the 1000 off the website for now. I have a couple Arai RX-7 Corsairs that I used before I got the Scorpion, and I think I actually prefer the fit of the EXO-700. Of course, I might just have a 'scorpion' shaped head too.. so your mileage may vary. I've never liked the fit of the HJC's I've seen. The one I got years ago feels really heavy and HUGE compared to the Scorpion.

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | I tried on a Scorpion EXO-700 prior to picking up my AGV. It felt pretty good, just didn't feel "right." I guess I don't have the head shape for a scorpion. I have never tried on an HJC. I have a Suomy Spec-1R Extreme, a Shoei RF-1000, and an AGV XR-2. The Suomy was my first helmet, and I don't think I would look for another. The AGV and the Shoei seem to fit pretty similar.

iTrader: (1) Rep Power: 2 (11) | Suomy all the way for me... cant wait till the rf1000 is released cuz it seems like the 700 fits well on my head.... if smashed 2 spec 1 r's and i never had one headache so i do not doubt the reliablity of these helmets..... i would like to try something that is good yet a little lighter on the wallet. cuz 2 suomy's = 1800 CAD |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | I know where you are coming from. I really liked the construction and feel of the Suomy as well, but after it broke in a little, it just didn't fit the same. It seems for me, the Shoei and the AGV are the best fits so far, but once the new Suomy's have been released, I will definitely try one and see how it fits.

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | The new grafix...they typically introduce new ones every year. I've hear you can change the cheek pads to semi-custom fit the helmet, so I may give it a try. You can get good deals on Suomy's...you just have to shop around. I bought my Barros Spec-1R Extreme for $350.00 brand new.
