Someone stole my screen name on SBN....

Crap, I had my "SPEED" screen name on Sportbikes.net (SBN) for over 3 years with over 500 posts, and a bunch of photo's, and I just found out it's all been dumped, and someone else is using my acct :cussing :tantrum :banghead . After I changed my E-mail awhile back, I couldn't log in, and asked Fred (The owner) to fix it for me. He sent me a new password, but it never worked. I sent him another E-mail last night, and he replied asking if I was using a certain other E-mail which I wasn't. I did a search on SPEED, and came up with "Speed" and it only showed 11 posts, and that other dude registering in 08-04. I'm guessing either someone accidentally deleted my acct, or the peeps over there dumped a bunch of people that haden't posted in awhile.

Those of you that came from the old SBN Socal forum a few years back will remember all the good times we had while there. It would be cool to get it all back, but I'm sure it's gone now. :pat

I wonder if Fred will at least give me my acct back :dunno :headscratch

I'm curious, are all you older SBNers able to access your old accts?

I just tried and was able to log in, but didn't have access to anything else. Can't access UserCP, etc... I think my account may have been disabled due to lack of activity...

i've actually had a lot of weird issues with my old sbn account. like, it doesn't show attachments by default and it gives me restricted access errors on things that normal users do.

of course, i use it so infrequently now that i don't even stress on it. but i had about 1000 posts on there before the great meltdown.

Well..I'm banned there and have been COPP'd a few times too. I remember the old Socal forum on SBN. I had over 3500 posts there too.

What are u bitchin when u only had 500..pppfffft. :wave
