| Squid | I'm running Pilot Race for the first time, but my riding is generally split between track riding and just lanesplitting around H-wood. Is trundling around town going to kill them? I don't do many miles, but I was wondering about the heat cycling. Are they going to get up to temperature enough to heat cycle them on that 3-mile run to Kinko's in heavy traffic? |

| Newbie | regular street riding doesn't produce enough heat to go through a cycle. |

| Track Junkie | Race tires are fine on the street. keep the pressure yup. The Pilot Powers are DOT so there legal. If your only doing short trip and not goint to ride them alot you'll prolly be fine. Watch for wear so you don't flat spot the center riding to much on the street before your next trackday. Who ever says race tires suck on the street, please don't tell my bike. Its been fine running trackday take offs for over 1year and 1/2 now. |
