| Spammer | Introducing Crash Damage Repair / Bike Night March 31st 2005 Dave Ciesielski of Crash Damage Repair is hosting an informal Bike Night get together at his shop at 1310 East Imperial Highway in El Segundo on Thursday, March 31st, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Come by for burgers and drinks and check out a great motorcycle repair/service shop. Please let I or Dave know if you're planning to attend. We'd like to get an approximate head count so he can get enough burgers and drinks. Crash Damage Repair is a misnomer of sorts. While Dave has the most sophisticated laser measuring equipment in the industry, his services include suspension setup and tuning. Dave has an exceptionally clean and well stocked shop that caters to the discerning rider and racer. For further details on Crash Damage Repair, go to I recently purchased Ohlins for my ZX10R (forks and shock) and in the process of trying out the Dunlop 208 190/60 GPA. Dunlop?s can have swingarm issues on some bikes, so I had to install a smaller counter shaft sprocket and longer chain. The Dunlop 208 GPA 190/60 is much taller than the OEM tire; this coupled with new Ohlin suspension components is a perfect example of using a shop like Dave's. He placed the bike in a jig using laser and computer driven software that takes measurements of swingarm angle, rake, trail and other key items. Based on your riding goals, it allows Dave to setup the suspension to achieve this goal. Once the suspension is set, you can have Dave work on spring rates, compression and rebound settings, ride height etc. This includes installing, reworking the shim stacks, oil level, suspension links etc. Dave has as much suspension equipment if not more than Stig at PPS. For many of us, Stig has been a great source of Ohlin information and service. In my experience, Dave and his shop carry on in the same manner as Stig, simply very good service. Do yourself a favor and come and say hello to Dave. Directions to Dave?s shop are very easy; take the 405 to the 105 west to the end of the freeway. The first signal is California where you'll make a left and stay on California for a block to the stop sign. Go straight through the intersection and at the end of the block/street, turn right into the alley. You'll make a right into the first driveway/parking lot where you'll see the back of Dave's shop. Tell all your friends and fellow riders about this event. See you there. Bruce aka realestateguy |

| Spammer | For those of you that saw the post as informative and letting you know about a great place to work up your suspension or check your frame, you're welcome. For those of you that thought I would benefit from the event or that it was advertising, enjoy your limited perspective and silly rules. realestateguy aka Bruce |
