so the biker "gang" at work here is composed of only engineers, PhDs, programmers, and accountants..

Same thing where I work but they are mostly youngsters without the political clought to F-up a cops career or even day. I guess what I should have said was there should be more lawyers, doctors, politicians, etc. riding sport bikes. Most of the professionals I just mention, if they ride, ride cruisers. Hence a reason cruisers get a pass from traffic cops when sport bikers do not.

Cruisers get a pass from cops because there are less people on them planting them into guard rails, doing 140 on the freeways, and being stunted on public roads on a daily basis. There just ear peircing loud. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the drunks on them getting a little closer look at by the popo. Like the ones at Sagebrush Catina in Calabasas while the CHP is busting sportbikes 2 blocks away going to SFVBikenight.
