Riding can kill ya huh

Next time Mr or Mrs safety nazi reminds you how you can killed on a Motorcycle. Remind them a Gardena man got killed on thundermountain last year at Disneyland. And in July there was a mistake made by an operator and 3 people got hurt. So don't go there or you'll DIE. See what they say to that.

Just something I heard on the news.

haha that's a good one, im gonna use that next time. i always tell people that i know more popele that have died in cars than bikes, and i know a lot of bikers. that normally gets them thinking too.

Yeah...and the well meaning but ignorant family and friends who, after we're nearly killed in a Ford Excursion, ask me "you're not planning on still riding those dangerous motorcycles, are you?" DUH. Like having my wife and kids and I almost die in the biggest friggin land yacht made somehow makes BIKES dangerous....but they think nothing of us getting behind the wheel of a car since "everyone drives a car, right?". Sheesh....

Oy... I remember that. If that had happened to me and people started asking if I was still going to RIDE... I think I'd smack them in the face.

actually I read a statistic a while back that said all things equal (cars and bikes) cars were more dangerous. And there were more car deaths than bikes.....er was it more car crashes than bikes. dammit, I need to findit again.
Anyway, people respond with "well there are more cars than bikes..." after hearing that so many times, I yell "get your fingers out of your ears and stick them back up your butt! I said all things being equal! the amount of cars and bikes! Why are you so stoopid?!"
