Default Palomar Mtn Road

Do you guys happen to know anything about this????

Where E. Grade and S. Grade intersect there is a nice little diner that is open during the day. The only problem is finding a parking spot between all the motorcycles and sports cars. Warning:, due to the popularity of this road with sports bikes some local area residents have been rumored to set traps on corners, including deliberately spilling hydraulic fluid.

I found it here:

Its been like that since the late 70's, although I've never seen hydro-fliud. Usaully its diesel. It gets worse on and off, but I've heard of more accidents from people crossing the double yellow than townies lubing turns.

Most of this is just rumor that keeps growing. Most accidents are from pople crosing the DY or not knowing the road.

This is 99.9% rumor. It kicks up and gets tons of coverage in the newspaper and on the news every summer.

Thanks for the info. That sounded nasty and dangerous.

GSXR600Chick : welcome back to two wheels again!!!!. When I first came to the States I just couldn't think of anything but getting a bike. I would go every weekend to the bikes shops to just look at them and dream of owning one. I saved up for a year and a half and when it finally happened was one of the best feelings of the world. I guess "once you go bike, you can't go back" :thumbup

Thanks!
It has been over six months of looking at the GSXR in the garage and not being able to safely take it out. Now it is all back to a safe riding condition (and it is cosmetically fixed), with the exception of the tires which I will hopefully have VERY soon.... :thumbup
