3 Los Gatos residents arrested for assault on motorcyclist

LOS GATOS â€“ Three Los Gatos residents were arrested after they allegedly used a rope to put a passing motorcyclist in a coma, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff's department.
Donald Bryant, 62, Donna Olsen, 46, and Edward Anderson, 48, were arrested Tuesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and battery with serious bodily injury in connection with the May 6 incident, Deputy Serg Palanov said.

The trio allegedly tied a rope to a tree on one side of a road and waited on the other as a group of motorcycle riders approached. As a cyclist traveling at a speed of about 30 mph came close, they pulled the rope taut, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown backward.

The rider, who authorities declined to identify, was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, where he remained in a coma for five days. He received 500 stitches and several titanium plates were put in his face.

The suspects pulled the rope taut as a second rider passed, but he suffered only minor injuries, Palanov said.

Nothing will happen to these guys here in lovely ole California. If the ****ers like playing with rope so much we should get to hang them using the same rope they used.
