Palomar report

went to Palomar today , tight side is clean mothers was closed but the store is open , fast side has fixed bumpy turns,no trafic at all, all the way to Borego Springs.

From the date looks like you were up their on Friday correct thanks for the up Im thinking of going up on Subday

yeah went up today again and it was cassual ride,but the things got better up there again and tommorow it should be just another Sunday

. Mothers was open , little wind , but no sign of smoke or ashes in the air, few cops and couple water trucks parking in front of mothers kitchen, see ya manana.

SO wanna ride again but I work, and still over my 600 miles service (though I've changed my oil twice already)

I was up there this morning. The road was good however I couldn't get my head to stop thinking about the possibility of ash on the road. A fire crew kept closing the south grade to cut down trees that were in jeopardy of falling on the road. I got caught on the hill which wasn’t so bad because I was able to make a few runs up and down without any cars to deal with. Other wise it looks kinda strange. Hope we don’t get a ton of rain all a once, could cause some serious problems to the road, a couple of light rain storms to get the ground cover going is what we need.

I was up there today too for a few hours. It actually doesnt look too bad, some spots are much worse than others but its still nice up there. There was practically nobody on the mountain which gave Wes600rr a lot of time to practice some photography. Look out for his photos in the future!

I took some shots of the area. I will post some pics of the fire damage tomorrow. If you were up there on Sunday shoot me a PM so I can see if I got any good shots of you....
