iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 0 (10) | Mike, Wheelies are almost as easy on a 600 as a 1000, and when you do a nice one, there is actually more respect for it, due to the small displacement. Logo received and already listed on my sponsors page: MDG_RACING_SPONSORS WWW.GOTMOTOPARTS.COM Used Sport Bike Parts Talk to you soon, and have fun buying the new toy. Craig, Get it right, the shoulder is weak. Remember I tore the three ligaments in my shoulder. How you like my sympathy technique? By the way, get any calls on your bike recently, I sent you couple of prospective investors in your GSXR-1000 stock? And now, back to Mike's bike talk. Thanks. iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | Been a long time since I posted. I'm in a similar situation right now. I want to trade my '06 Gsxr 1000 for the 848 or the Gsxr 750 or the 675. I find myself leaning hard on the 848. The V-twin may not be the king of horsepower, it may also get less reviews overall, but the people who do review it give it HIGH reviews. They talk about how there is ALWAYS enough torque (good for those wheelies into and out of corners). I've got the Hypermotard, and I'll tell you that 1100 V-twin picks up the front tire even on the road without even meaning to. It FEELS a lot more powerful than my Gsxr even. Top end, it loses to the 1000. But that is the hypermotard and not a race bike replica. The suspension seems to get accolades for being easy to direct and solid. The front end is said to be a little heavy mid corner, but transmit feel and induce confidence. That alone is worth it to me. Oh yeah, its also dead sexy. The new RR seems like its getting very polarized reviews in the looks dept. I think it looks terrible. Like a no name grocery market motorcycle toy sport bike. Looks like they designed the bike, then remembered they had to slap some fairings onto it. Nothing wrong with that, I'm a form over function kind of guy, but sexy does factor into these machines. iTrader: (5) Rep Power: 15 (42) | I had to sell it recently because of some financial restructuring. Now that we're past that it's time to look for a new bike that I can hold onto for awhile. Quote:

| Know It All | Dayam pearly white 848???...It's white so you can't see all the spooge.... :P Track use? tough call...I've sat on a couple 1000RR's and I'm not a liter bike fan but dang I wanna try that one out. The front? not so much...everything else...pimpin. 1000 in a 600 chassis, pretty much woot! I really wanna roll one, fat chance on that anytime soon....can anyone set up an "anti"-fem moto event so the rest of us can try out a slew of bikes??? If they doubled my salary, hellz ya 848, as it stands... 1000RR, you know you can't go wrong with a Honda anyway. Those that say go 848 but for street use only... what are you on crack??? Yeah buy a Ferrari and only commute to work in it too...yah that makes about as much sense. I aspire to move up to Ducati/Aprilia/MV some day(come ON super lotto, dayam you!), and you can bet that one will be on the track, that's what they are made for DUH.

iTrader: (1) Rep Power: 5 (47) | Where did this guy come from? Haven't heard anything from this fool since the trackday event at MMP where some crackhead wanted to cut me with a broken beer bottle and get a beat down from "Cheng" as he so called him. How you doing brotha? Sorry to jack the thread...back on topic, new bike!
