I'll tell you what man I thought that Fireblade was one ugly step sister. Until I saw her close and had we been alone.......

LOL!! No doubt it's like the first time sipping beer, it tastes like piss water until you get a few down.

Having just watched Jeremy Toye put a STOCK 2008 CBR1000RR (well.. it had a PC3 and KR exhaust on it) on both the Superstock AND Superbike grid at Fontana this weekend.. I know what I'd get. In fact he'd had been in the top 10 in Superstock had he not crashed out in turn 3 on the last lap.

Jeremy's bike full of fluid and ready to race felt lighter than my 05 CBR completely dry. I SO want that new bike..

Really?! Toye on a Honda CBR1000RR 'eh?............

I just need to see what dealer is going to hook me up the best, then whip out the Honda Card and bring her home.

Yeah.. it was crazy. He said he was able to close on a bunch of the guys in the corners but that it lacked the straight line grunt of the 'real' Superstock bikes. I think he said the bike was at 174-ish RWHP. He couldn't stop talking about how good the handling was though, and that was on the stock suspension components..

The handling is what I'm most interested in with this bike, the RWHP stock is more than I can use as it is.

My vote honestly goes to the Triumph. For a street bike I think that Street Triple looks fun as hell but I will always have a soft spot for nudes.
