iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (15) | So I'm driving up I15 today and see a pickup with a couple bikes in it, one obviously being a kawi. Then I realize it's a newer ZX-10R and IT'S ON IT'S SIDE! I pass the guy and take a look and other than the fact that it's obviously gonna get ****ed up by carrying like that it doesn't appear to have been crashed or anything that would make you not care about it. In fact it appeared to be bone stock, and even had a Fun Bike Center dealer plate on it. So I'm thinkin to myself who the hell just throws a $10k+ sportbike in the bed of a truck on it's side? I tend to think it's stolen, except that the guy was going north, away from the border, then got on the 78 west. Anyone heard about any stolen kawi's around San Diego? If so I have a plate number on the truck for you.

They were probably on their kickstands or other sort of stands and the driver thought it's a rock solid setup. How did the driver look like? I know, I know people would start to generalize. EDIT: With the current economic situation and people financing too many toys with their home equity they can just be REPOSSESSED. Doesn't hurt reporting the plate to the police anyway. |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 2 (10) | Man I have seen that before. I saw a flatbed with 4 different bikes on it all STRUNG together going down the 905E. One of the bikes in the middle was smashing it's throttle into the others plastics!!!! I flagged tghem down and made a gesture that one of the bikes was flapping around. They pulled over. I hope just didn't help out a bastard thief.
