Why woudl a tinted or mirrored visor be a problem anyway? I run mirroed on ALL my helmets all the time if I have em... clear sucks... and looks dumb in pics...

I use a iridium tinted shield and it cuts the sun just enough and brightens the track up enough that I can either wear sunglasses under the shield or not wear sunglasses, it depends. Either way your going to be alright. If it breeds confidence and confidence you need on the track I say wear it
