Bike vs. Corvette on Pally

I was following other Corvettes down the tightside Saturday (Aug. 2) and the fire dept closed the road. About 11:30 or so, the fire dept said the road will be closed 45-60 minutes. Found out that a bike and vette were involved in a head-on. Anyone know the rider? Anyone know of the condition of the rider? I was told the rider was LOC. I ended up doing a 3 point U-turn and going back up the tightside and down the fastside. Felt kinda weird doing a U-turn on a road that is crazy but it was closed with road cones, so it was cool.

BTW, I rode Palomar when it was a dotted white line all the way up...

I know nothing about this incident, but when are you going to take me on a fast ride in the Z06?

bummer... as much as I love riding Palomar I pretty much avoid it unless I can get up there during the middle of the week. Someone seems to lose their life or be seriously injured most weekends, but I'm not saying anything most of us don't know I suspect. It always saddens me when another motorcyclist gets hurt or dies. Just this week a man was killed and the woman that was his passenger was severely injured when a car making a left into my neighborhood hit them. Be careful out there everyone!

I was at Pally with 3 other peeps last Friday and it ROCKED....only 2-3 cars coming down on our first trip up. Barely any others to mention. Only a spattering of 5-6 other bikes. We did a few laps on the tight side and stopped for some grub at Mother's. On the way back I got 8 fat avacado's for $5 WOOT. Thankfully I had some duct tape in the tail bin, since I didn't have my usual tank bag with me that day. The avacado's rode bitch well taped on the rear seat har har har...I had a pic on my phone but I mistakenly deleted it so no evidence of this.
