| Canyon Carver | Since SPEED keeps hinting at it in various posts and in IM, but never actually advertises it I'm going to post it. :greenflip The idea is we start the day off with some canyons early-mid morning before it gets too hot and before the CHP'ers are really out in force. More than likely ACH or this GMR I keep hearing about or even somewhere else assuming we can all come to a semi-peaceful decision. :laughing After some riding, we head off to have a BBQ. Meat, drinks, snacks, and volleyball (I fully agree with SPEED on the last one :thumbup ). Heck, maybe even throw in a little tuning help if some of the more experienced mechanics want to share their knowledge and lend a tool. Seems to me a late lunch would be perfect for this and keep the grill open all afternoon. :biglaugh Now for the input from you guys: 1. What dates work for you guys? 2. Which canyon and how early? Keep in mind not all of us are puck destroyers. 3. Who's house or establishment do we invade? 4. Who all is bringing the goodies? My :2cents - About the only day I regularly have off is Sunday. Saturdays can be had with advanced notice. I've been to ACH and it's not bad at a slower pace and with a big group, so my "vote" goes there (worth a whole lot huh?). No house to invade here, and I'll gladly either chip in some dough or bring some munchies. Plus, I think I still have a volleyball net somewhere. Also, organization is huge. I've got an X1, who else? If we can get a few Chatterboxes spread out in the group, especially for the back marker, I think it'll really help. |

| Know It All | Ive got an X1, a morning ride sounds good to beat the mid day sun. Also what about a maintainence day? Havent had one in a long time from any of the groups. If anyone needs to work on a 99-02 R6 from minor installs to jet kit tuning ive got that covered. |

iTrader: (5) Rep Power: 16 (42) | I have a huge place that works great for BBQ's & vollyball, but I was thinking about the first SBW BBQ to take place a little later when the weather cools off a bit. We can do it sooner however. Keep the ideas flowing :thumbup . ABearden, why not turn this into a poll to see where everyone would like to go? Could be the Crust, GMR, Back Door to Palm Springs, Palomar...ETC :wave . |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (11) | Hahaha, wasn't meant to be a SCS topic, it was just meant to inform the previous posters what John was doing that Saturday. but that's cool I'll take out the SCS part out of the post since you have a problem with it ... :headscratch
