How would I go about getting tickets for the Fontana race?

So how does it work with seating? I've never been to a race at Cal Speedway before. Is it just general admission and you sit where ever there is room (next to you wackos hopefully :moon ) or do you get numbered seats?

When I went last year I had the general admission tickets and we just sat wherever there was room.

I paid extra for a pit pass to check out that area. (OMG I was 2 feet away from Ben and FREAKED OUT!!) :love2 :ky :laughing

Fontana never sells out or even comes close to selling out so I just buy my tickets when I get to the track.

FYI dont spend the extra $ on the pit pass as no one ever checks it so you can walk right into the pit area with out it.

They checked and double checked mine and the people I was with....

Chris & I are probably just going to cage it. I took the bike last year, and they had helmet checks, but it's easier for us to just take the car and not have to deal with retrieving helmets and worrying about my bike all day. I am not sure if you need to pay for the helmet check or not. It was free for me last year since I did the GSXR 20th Anniversary thing.....

I walked in and out of the pits at will all 3 days last year and the year before. No one ever asked to see a pit pass.
