Sorry about that last one folks but I have tried twice to post a nice message about this past weekend but it has somehow gotten lost each time. Here we go for the third time!!
I just want to say WOW, what a GREAT weekend we all had at Pahrump's new "West Track." Great time was had by all. Very few crashes and a LOT of smiling faces. It FAR exceeded my expectations as a track. I can't believe how fun 1.6 miles could be!! I have certainly been on much less fun tracks that are much longer. Can't say enough positive things about the weekend.
Very special thanks goes out to lots of folks. Thanks to Steve and Dori for keeping everyone's bikes with rubber on them. Huge thanks to all of our control riders!! YOU GUYS ROCK!! :thumbup If we could just light a fire under Jerry's butt and get him to pull his weight out there, we would have a solid crew. :lmao To those who weren't in attendance and aren't picking up on my sarcasm... the consensus was that Jerry logged an IRONMANLY impressive 500+ miles this past weekend making sure that everyone was safe and attended to. I think he rode just about every session over the course of the 2 days. :clapping Thank you Kent for taking the very first pictures ever of motorcycles on this track. My cd looks great. The HUGEST thank you goes out to Speed and Rachel for cooking up the best trackday lunch that we have had since the last time they broke out the grills!! Thank you guys soooo much. Didn't get a chance to say good bye to you guys on Sunday. I think that you stealthily departed. I hope your journey home was a safe one and that perhaps you beat some traffic? Great to see Mike on the track as well. Didn't expect that one.
In general, the weekend was fantastic and from all of us at Ti2TT, we thank you and look forward to seeing/riding with you all again next year!! Pahrump Big Track in January anyone?!?!

Saturday was BLAST at the new track.. looked super slick, but proved to be quite grippy and not too slick.. had a few slips, but overall it was the BEST track day i've been to.. specially since me and my buddy haven't been to the track or even on our bikes for such a long time..

Lunch was great.. specially the Burgers and Potato salad..

Also, great pics by Kent @ PalomarPics.net ..me and Byron still lookin to get some of your stickers.. glad to hear the track day photos are goin lots better for you than Palomar.. we can ring it out so much better on the track than the mtn anyway.. :thumbup
