Default Get 'em while they're HOT!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm ready to pee my pants I'm so excited. One week from tomorrow, our group will be departing for the beautiful town of Pahrump!

The heat is going to be a challenge, but two days of riding will help to pace things out a bit. With the tarmac temperature in the high 120's, tire management/choice will be interesting. Can anyone say "greasy"?

I just picked up a set of 208GPs medium. I ran qualifiers there a few weeks ago and they were terrible! I was sliding all over the place, and eventually went down in turn 4. I thought about some 209s but was told that they aren't GP tires.. Anyway, I've run the 208 before and had good luck so we'll see..

I just got the tools in to change out the fork fluid as mine were a bit spongy. I hope that helps..Only been there once and I was slooooooooow..

Matt, what are you running? I will be running pilot race. I think, off the top of my head, front is PR2 and rear is PR4?? I hope my choice works for the weekend.

You should be fine. I'm not sure what I'm running yet, but they will be Michelin. Either a PR5 PRC combo or a 1845/1246 combo.

I was told I should go to 9/9.5 but it comes stock with 10. The next step up I could find was 15, but that seemed heavy. I should state that the oil was the stock fluid from when I bought the bike in '02, so I'm sure it was worn out. What are your thoughts?

Gulp! I am having the new Qualifiers I have mounted tomorrow. Should I be concerned? Matt knows I'm not very fast. Thanks in advance.

I heard there will be a tire rep. there - can they mount them too?
(I would imagine, but making sure)
