You wont be the only one Disco. I just got a new pipe on my motard, and I'm hoping to get some plastics for my Kawi in time.

It's a whole new world man. I've been on mine for a while now, and I'm probably equally fast on palomar on either bike, but I still feel like I'm just ham fisting the motard around. I can tell it's capable of a LOT more I just haven't figured out how to ride the thing. When you hit your first set of tight S turns you'll be grinning from ear to ear though.

Yeah, being on the track with it will definitely help, especially if I can follow someone around who knows how to ride it.

Hey do you just use your street gear for the tard or do you have other gear that you wear? What kind of boots do you use? Do you wear a MotoX helmet or your regular one? I'm just wondering if I should shop for some new gear...

It's never a bad time to shop for more gear . I'll use any excuse I can get.

LOL! I pretty much wear the same gear on either bike. I own an MX helmet, but have only used it when I swap the dirt tires on. I might try it out as teh temps warm up though, might be a little cooler than the full face. Usually if I'm riding twisties or track I'll wear my Sidi vertigos boots. Around town I wear my bigger clunkier Icon field armor because they make kick starting easier and fit the shifter better, but I tend to drag the toes on em a lot if I'm riding hard.
