No funny pics this time...sorry

Need some help. I want to get some vinyls for my lid...




but i want to do a "rising sun" theme to it like the old Japanese flag. Kinda like this...




Can someone put that onto the black lid like mine and show me what that would look like? I know it's not the best pic in the world, but it gives you a good idea. I was reading a brit mag and one of the guys had that helmet so i snapped a pic with my camera phone, hence the crease down the middle.

Also, I'm open to other variations of the same theme if somebody wants to get creative and design something else.

I think you would get a better idea of what it would look like in a 3D model instead of just photoshop I could 3D model the helmet and put the flag on it so you could see it if you want

I'm just waiting to see if anyone else can come up with anything and then actually going about getting the vinyls made.

No problem, the link shows the most similar to what you want, that I've done in the past. A graphic that incomapasses the compound curves of the helmet. The blue was color matched to the irridium sheild.

I could give the sunbeams a more 3D look so they look like they are on the lid as opposed to part of the base paint. I could do a sample if your interested?

The lid in the link is all done with digital printed vinyl. The helemt started out solid whit with a blue lens.

Wow, very cool. Yes, i'm definitely interested. What do you need from me? The only thing i'm concerned about is all the vents and getting it to clear them. Well that and follwing the contour of the helmet.

I've got your photo shopped pic and the ohter pic of the lid on the rider that shows how the pattern connects across the top of the helmet, so I just need the helmet you want the graphics on. As far as the vents, I try to work around the vents and if it does cover (like in the helment attachment) I'll cut out the air way.
