Default Pictures from Big Bear

The fiance and I went up to Big Bear this past monday for some snowboarding. In case anyone is interested, here are a couple pics.

The road up and back...

Another storm coming in...

Shannon in front of the bar at Bear Mountain.

This was pretty hilarious. I was hauling ass down the mountain and caught an edge. I slid halfway down the friggin mountain on my ass BACKWARDS. The only reason I stopped is I slid up a jump and stopped right at the top. :lmao If only Shannon had gotten it on video! The picture does it NO justice!

Thanks for sharing the pictures!!! Looks like it was an awesome time! Chris & I have been wanting to rent a cabin and go skiing up there for quite some time now. *sigh* Maybe someday. :laughing

We'll have to get some frame sliders for your ass for the next time you go up. :lmao

I'm afraid to ask where the frame siders would go!! :laughing :laughing

If you're looking to rent a cabin you might as well go up to Tahoe. For comparison here are a couple pics from our Tahoe trip a couple weeks ago.

OMG the Tahoe pics are gorgeous. Wow.

What's the drive time to Tahoe? I've never been.

The drive to Tahoe is ugly, but it's pretty cheap to fly into Reno and then only 30-40 minute drive up the mountain.

Shannon and I are planning on going back to Big Bear at least once before the season ends... not this coming weekend but maybe the weekend after or the one after that.
