Trackdaz and dustin coyner.

I ALWAYS register for the race/A group....they may be faster than me, but there's never going to be more than 10 to 20 riders in the group. I'd rather work on keeping up than passing.

You were passing quite a few in that video......was it the race group as well?

Also, I thought I saw a photog right off the side of the track just out of turn 2?

Yea, that was race group, right after lunch.

Got a good story from that session....too bad the camera ran out of memory room, cause it would have caught me low-siding in T3 about three laps later.

This was the first and ONLY time I used dunflop 208gp-a's....didn't feel too good on 'em. I'm a sworn bridgestone guy. anyway, it was an afternoon session, and I was going to take it easy since the tires were smoked a little. right about that point, Chris Ulrich goes past me in T8, and the throttle hand suddenly disconnected from all rational thought. I chased him for two laps until my low side.

Bad thing? I crashed for the first time in my 14 year streetbike riding career.

Good thing? I ran a 1:28.9 the lap before I crashed.

and, I only did about $300 worth of damage.....I stood the bike up and thanked the gods, because it should have gone end over end. cost me an engine cover, two sliders and a little fiberglass work. I told myself she'd never hit the track again...just can't take that chance of f'ing her up. Gonna pick up a track bike in the next month or two.

That's a good story!!!!

Too bad the camera wasn't on the other side. Then we could watch the tire wear-out as you rode. That track is so nasty on right-side rubber.
