Well it is a little diferent but none the less it still sucks. This sort of stuff and people crossing the DY there has definantly taken the fun out of riding Pally for me. My biggest fear is getting taken out again so the enjoyment factor for riding there has gone way down. On the flip side I enjoy Old Julian much more now.

Yeah, he was in a pretty low gear too. I noticed his butt was off, but his upper body was still in the middle.

The group that I ride with I try to teach to get the upper body of the bike, proper foot placement, taking weight off the clip-ons, etc. There is one guy who is pretty quick, almost as fast as me (not that I'm all that quick, but I'm quicker than anyone I've ridden with recently), and he is dead on center on the bike, nasty lean angle. He rides like Chris did that first track day.

I look in my rearview at his form a lot, and I swear if he leans anymore, hes gonna dig a peg in. I tell him all the time to get off the bike more, and he's slowly working his way up to it, but I had to slow down a bit cause he always try's to keep up, and I dont want him lowsiding.

He's getting better though, I just hope when I stop riding with them next week that he continues to improve.

I watched the Vid many times 1st he did look to brake just before the slide
2nd I am very happy I wasn't coming the other direction.
So my question is was he using PIR as his own personal racetrack or Public street. See yall on Montazuma unless I start seeing film crews there too

Can't blame the kid for trying to get his Valentino Rossi moment , so he can go post it up on his myspace page .

Sucks what happen to him . I saw a similar video caught on tape by ray Motrfinger .

Looks like the rider gets completely off the throttle THen accelerates as he is leaning the bike .

Increasing speed as contact patch decreases.

I still have a copy of LewdiChris's crash on PIR... Someone brought the tape to my house and I made a copy of it years ago.

It's pretty rough to watch as it's a helmetcam and you get the full effect. I can post it if someone knows how to get ahold of him and he ok's it. :shrug:
