SPEED's New '07 Honda CBR600RR - Page 2

Thanks guys!!

Got on the road early this morning headed to Palomar for the "New Bike Break-in Ritual." Noticed that the bike has quite a lot of power for a stock 600 & was enjoying the long commute down the 15fwy unlike on the Kawasaki ZX6R. Stopped at Pachanga gas station for a fill up & was under way for some fun. I was all giddy with anticipation & when the first turn came up it was hard not to throw it all the way over, but I kept my wits about me and took another couple turns to get the tires good and scrubbed. After I was sure the tires were good to go, I thought it was time to look a little closer at what my new baby has to offer in the cornering department & I wicked it up a couple notches & threw it into the first turn....... "HOLY SMOKES....... what an awesome track weapon this is going to be." I shouted out loud inside my helmet, then started laughing my a$$ off while thanking God & Honda for building such an awesome bike.

That was all just in the little section before I got to the mountain...now I was really going nuts just thinking about how much fun I was going to have on my favorite hill & then the track on Wednesday at Buttonwillow.

I get to the hill & decide to keep going up instead of stopping at the tree first like usual. I take it farly easy on the first run up & back down, then check my tires to see how they look and feel..... all is good and back up I go working my way over to each side further & further...... "wow"...... I'm thinking, "Honda must have built this bike especially for me because it's exactly what I have been longing for, a perfect blend of style, color, power, and maneuverability."

Well, I must say I'm in love again. Thanks Honda for this wonderful CBR600RR!

Nice Mike and remember: it's a track day not a race (pahrump)
Too bad we didn't go to the hill today, we would have seen you there and drooled on your new bike, we had a great ride none the less.

No, not yet, still need to look into it.

Wednesday is going to start early for us since we plan on being out of here by 1:30PM tomorrow. Can't wait, see you there!
