Default New toy...kinda

So...this past week I found a pocket bike for sale on craigslist and went and picked it up this weekend. Only $100, so why not. Anyhow, nothing special to talk about, just another pocket bike. Needs a new right foot peg and right brake lever, but otherwise in good condition. Picked it up for the boy. Now, he wants to race. He can't even ride the damn thing without putting his feet down but he wants to race. I am so proud. He didn't want to get off it, and he couldn't stop touching it once he was done riding it. Anyhow, I think I may have to get another for the girl. She wants a bike now too. Time to get them racing! First pic is Robbie showing his Ruff Rider pose. Second is Robbie showing his stunting ability. Last is the girl in her bicycle helmet having fun.

Oh I know. Since we brought it home, I have been looking into gear for them and what it would take to get them started. Just took the family to LAX...off to Texas to visit mom (wife's mom) and grandparents (the kids). I am with my youngest for the next ten days and I am trying to see what I can do to get the bike fixed and ready before they get home. Heck, might even have another one when they return, not sure though. Definitely need to get a new helmet though, the one the guy gave me when I bought it is not very protective, as you can see in the pics.

There are tow kinds of pocket bikes I have seen... The cheap $100-$300 no suspension deals that are like throw away bikes and then the high priced one that have suspension and people sink money into those... Not sure which yours is...
