Poor b@stards. I don't know how they'll do it. I go through that many tires every year or so.

And what's the extra tire for? = 31?
Sixty-minutes should look into this one.

This was a good move for MotoGP, IMO. Too many of the top riders/teams were getting fresh overnight tires and creating a major gap for the other teams (if you werent on Mich. you didn't get sh!t overnight). It did feel a bit like cheating in some cases. Yes, this is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing, but there still need to be some restrictions to keep some sense of a somewhat even playing field...

Having a limited number of tires means that the teams have to be much more wise in thier decisions. It also means that setup time is defenitly a lot more important; no more getting tires overnight that "should" fix what was a small problem. If you couldn't find a tire that works over the course of two days setup and a Q, you better be able to ride your a$$ off come Sunday.

With this rule change, we might see Dunlop even get a win in this year if the Mich. & Bridgestone teams screw up thier choices on a given weekend.
