Laguna Seca Tips?

Just found out that I'll be going to catch the Moto gp race this year. We'll be going for the weekend (Fri-Sun). I was curious if anyone has any favorite place to sit. We were not planning on getting grandstand seats, and we'll be parking in the purple parking lot. I would'nt mind sitting in the corkscrew section, but I can bet that would be awful crowded. Anyway, all suggestions welcome. and thanks

The Corkscrew is an awesome place to experience MotoGP!! Get there about 6am with your chairs, sunscreen, air horns in a can, cameras, sunglasses, ear plugs, and of course your cooler stocked full of your favorite drinks.

now, having never been there, I'm curious how much of the track can be seen from the corkscrew. This was definitely one of the spots I'd love to go, but I would also like a spot where you can see a fair amount of track as well. I was looking at the area by I believe turn 5? it's a 90* turn before going uphill, and after passing the lakebed. Can you sit on the side by the runoff area of that turn.

park a few friends in the "screw" and then pick another spot and always keep someone "guarding" your spots so you don't lose em... have some fun...

Make sure you stop by our booth! Yeah we will be at the Yamaha Marketplace with a 20x20 RS-Taichi booth!

Corkscrew is very limited view, but worth a visit to watch for awhile, not worth camping there all day.

Half way up the hill behind grandstands and Flag Room in the middle gives you a good view of a great majority of the track.
