As long as I have a streetable bike to ride I'm up for mentoring one on one. I have Monday's & Tuesday's off right now. Let me know if you need help on either of those two days so we can plan the time to get together. You must be able to listen well & not be flakey :thumbup

We need more people willing to mentor new riders. Post up if you can help out. :wave

I thank them for helping me and getting me out of my squid mode. I am still the slowest rider in my group but I also know that thanks to some friends letting me know that it's cool to ride within your comfort level and not your ego level. (Well aside from that first wreck when I tried to keep up with them, but that was the first and last time). So for some the lesson must be learned the hard way. Be it painful for them or for their families. R.I.P. - Tony Gora be you right or wrong when riding I still wish you were riding among use. :sorry
RIP Tony... You are right 93GSXR... I too have learned many riding lessons the hard way -one dealing with fatigue/microsleep/target fixation and another dealing with fatigue/sleep (I actually fell asleep riding!!) both of which I was lucky to survive.

No worries about overcoming the squid mode, I think everyone has it in them at sometime in their riding careers. Anytime you're ready for a ride -call me. Maybe this weekend? Whacha think Speedextreme16, rrwntr? Just a little something to K-ville and back?
I would love to ride this weekend. I talked to Heater and she said her and Germ might be free on Sunday (I love his TLR) but the big question is where to ride. They have torn up the start of Lake Isabella right off of the 14 and the 178 to Bakersfield is a wash still from what I hear. So if you find a place on any day call me I'm in.... :woot
