iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | Someone posted this on the other forum, and I saw it first hand this morning. Looks like someone's truck blew up spewing oil all over the uphill lane about 2/3 of the way up. Nice fat oil trail runs up the last 1/3 of the hill, right into a parking spot at Mother's. :banghead It didn't seem SUPER slippery, but I wasn't going to push my luck and try to find out just how slick it really was. So take it easy up there! The downhill lane is perfect all the way down and the bottom 2/3rds of the uphill lane were awesome.

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | Well more bad news for us Palomar addicts... today there was MORE OIL on the tight side!!! :wtf On the bottom half, right hander in the uphill lane about 4 or 5 turns after the small lookout there is a WHOLE CRAPLOAD OF OIL right in the lane. It's the turn right after the yellow cow sign. When I got up there this morning there were two guys that had just lowsided there, and then we saw a guy on a R6 ALMOST eat it. :yikes Check out the attached pictures... they're from my crappy camera phone, but you can see the oil and make a mental note to GO SLOW in that corner!!! You can see the scrapes on the ground from the two guys' frame sliders. WTF is going on here??!? I originally thought the oil on the top half was really an accident... but now TWO big oil spills one day after another. :wtf If this really is someone trying to get sportbikers off the hill, they need to realize that they are risking peoples LIVES here. :asshat

On the bottom half it's just that one turn, but the top 1/3 is still greasy from the other day...

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | Yep, road was good today. I was being wussy on the part with the dark stripe running down the lane though... so much for confidence! :twoup
