iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | There is quite a bit of construction on the first part of Old Julian Hwy, before you make that left to get to the good part of the road (when heading away from Ramona). There are steel plates all over both lanes and dirt & mud everywhere. If you are going thru there on a weekday expect up to 30 minute delays since they have only one lane open and construction equipment running up and down. I got stuck for over 15 minutes today and I when I pulled up there were already quite a few cars waiting. Shouldn't be a problem on the weekends, but just watch out for those nasty steel plates and rocks... :yikes

| Know It All | The road going down from Julian to Cuyamaca last weekend was also in repair. We didn't get much gravel, but it was still ugly. I don't know if anyone has been thorugh there since and knows if it is better. |
