Lot's of truth ^^, here. The "pace" is a natural for guys like this, too. For them it's "Well, duh, of course you ride like that in the street. What - you want to crash and burn?"

I'm starting to see more of the NEW "older" riders on BMWs, too. I pace by them and when I stop, the look is usually "Holy sheet! That guy's older than me."
Priceless...

Yeah, it is possible that you won't be in my class. You have a 50/50 shot. Either way it will be good to meet you.

Weird, when I took my MSF course at Palomar in May 2003 they didn't say anything about not covering my front brake. I cover my front brake whenever I'm in traffic, in a large group of riders, or in some tight twisties. I almost always use both my front and rear brakes simultaneously to slow down and stop. I also find that covering my front brake for a long period of time tires my fingers, hand and wrist quickly.
