| Club Racer | I was recently asked a question that I couldn't answer because I don't know exactly what it is I do, I just do it and never stopped to think about what it was I did. So here is the question which seems simple enough. When at full lean in a corner and you need to correct to tighten up your line do you steer away from the turn (counter steer like you do to initialise the turn) or do you steer into the turn? For example if you are in a right hand turn and need to tighten your line, are you turning the bars left (away from the direction you are turning) or to the right, with the direction of the turn? I've never really stopped to think about what inputs I am giving the bars when riding so I was not 100% sure on the answer. ![]() |

| I'm not a pro(I don't get the $ like the real guys do) so everything below is technically worthless There are several ways, depending on the situation Let off the throttle a little push with your inside foot pull with your outside knee look through the turn more with your head relax your inside shoulder add a little countersteer trail the brakes a little It all really depends on your riding style and the exact situation... | Know It All | Trail the brakes a little and let off the throttle a bit... That's what I do....she turns right in. |

| Banned | I'm no pro, but countersteer for sure. I wouldn't let off the throttle as that's going to shift weight forward when you are already asking more from the front tire and reducing your lean angle (both of which aren't helped by les throttle). I'd say if anything on the throttle, roll it on, or at least stay even steady until you get to the apex and then roll on like you normally would. |

| Know It All | He said at full lean, not counter leaning! Besides, you do that before you lean... |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | Definitely far from a pro... but I'd add more countersteer and definitely NOT let off the throttle. ![]()
