Default FS: 20' Carson Trailer

$6,000
Carson Racer less than one year old, with a black and white checkered floor. 8.5' x 20' with dovetail rear.

The Grip-n-Balance trailer has been to many TI2TT and WSMC events, so you may already know what it looks like. It will be at WSMC this month, in the Michelin pits.

(And for those of you that know me, No: I am not getting out of tires, I'm just getting a larger trailer.)

Sure.... NP at all. Is it light enough to be pulled by a 1/2 ton with a decent size v8? :headscratch

Empty I believe it weighs in at 4500 lbs, and has the capacity for 7000 lbs with 2 3500 lb axles.

I'd say that a full size 1/2 ton full v8 would pull it ok if it was filled with light stuff; a few bikes and some leathers and stuff, but: I'd feel better saying that you should have a 3/4 ton with something this size with a payload in it.

The Jap trucks really don't have the rear end gearing, trany's (stock w/o coolers), or gas mileage when pulling "what they are rated for"....It's kinda missleading. I've known a few guys that have smaller or similar trailers with jap trucks and have either pulled thier hair out or gotten larger trucks
