ummm I have been selling on ebay and craigs list for years, and I like to present the full picture and let the consumer make up their minds if that value is worth it to them. I am not trying to rip anyone off or treat anyone the wrong way, I have been working with sales for a long time, and the best consumer is the most informed. Thats how I work with selling stuff personally too.

As far as the retail price on a IBM business series Laptop, yes that is what they run for price wise. I dont make the **** up I just go by what their website says, just to give you an idea of what you are buying...I dont care if no one buys my items. Hell if they want go out and waste 800$ on a brand new compaq or apple and I hope the thing breaks on you in 6 months or less. I have been in the computer industry for ten years and I would short change anyone or cheat anyone out of anything. Again its all about the clear picture. As far as the trailer is concerned. The writeup was taken word for word from the ad that I bought it from. SO I didnt make it up the guy who sold it to me did, if Im a sucker than great oh well. So I lowered the price to 350$ so maybe that will give someone the warm fuzziess and see its a pretty good deal.

And thats your personal opinion that you should sell stuff other than motorcycle crap, but why not we are all consumers and have money to spend, and maybe find something on our sites we frequent and want to buy it, I know I have before so why not. Just ignore the thread if it bothers you.

Im sorry if you were offended, thats not the idea of the FS threads I posted, I am in a tight situation and need to get rid of a few things quick. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Thanks! for your input....and you make a very valid point. Im not here to be an ass or cscrew anyone over. Just a fellow rider trying to sell a few things. Also as speedextreme16 stated i just started here with no intro and a few posts...then trying to sell stuff does look weird. So I posted a welcome thread. Now you can see who I am. If you feel like Im dishonest or just a jerk well Im sorry you feel that way. I didnt think this would launch into a all out argument about the validity of a FS thread and weather or not I am a scammer. I have a valid reason to be here. My boss Diego told me I should check it out and then I get this. I work for a fellow racer that you all know, and might have even bought stuff from and I get this type of welcome reception. Again I understand your concern and how it must look from the outside looking in, I just wish you could have Pm'd me with our opinion and we could have discussed off line, instead we have now whored up my FS thread, which is a complete waste of my time, and I have to try and validate my self to you and everyone else here who may read this. Well Im sorry Im not a "regular" to your little site, I apologizing for treading in the wrong waters. I applicate everyones time, and apologize for wasting it having to read through this crap!

Dude, don't you get it? This is not ebay, CL, or any other sales channel you're accustomed to. I don't care if you do it in your spare time or for living. If you want to post anything for sale here you need to use different language.

And particularly we're here not consumers to reach for our disposable income. Do you realize that by addressing the members of this board as consumers you basically identify yourself as a spammer? Which pretty much negates everything else about you including your exposure to motorcycles. You chose who you are here: spammer or fellow rider.

Hey man, like I stated before, I didn't think that you were trying to scam anyone since you are tied with Cycle Sector and that would, in turn, ruin their rep as well. So, no worries brotha! As for jacking your thread, I would like to apologize for it, though it may not be directly my fault, I still would like to apologize. I would also like to state that if anyone would like to continue this discussion, please start another thread as to not jack this one any further than it already is.

Yeah I tried selling a few things I wanted or had to but I tried the "salesmans" approach with no luck as I suspect you have had...

We all need to understand however we all like bikes and we all are different... So let celebrate our differences yes? So what I am saying is when you guys meet up just huUuuug...
