Default 2004 MV Agusta F4 Special Purpose Racer (SPR) *SOLD!*

<---"Spammer"? Indeed.

Hey peeps, normally I'm not one to join a forum and immediately post a "for sale" ad, but Speed encouraged me to as he was picking up my, er, HIS, RC-51, so here it is.

MV Agusta F4-750 SPR
Most people don't know what this bike is, but the aficionados do. The SPR was a very limited run of 300 units worldwide, this is SPR #276. New this bike cost $25,000. This bike was a statement as the fastest, most powerful MV Agusta 750cc F4 they made. It has racing inspired modifications, beyond the already high specification F4, as listed by system below:

To research, check this link: MV Agusta F4-750 SPR

The Chassis:
Marzocchi forks with 50mm legs and titanium nitride treatment
Sachs Racing shock absorber with double adjustment for compression
Adjustable rearsets

The Engine:
The F4 SPR is equipped with the most powerful engine of the F4 range. Derived from the EV engine, it differs from the standard F4 engine by the following:

Cyinder head:
New inlet and exhaust ducts (geometry and shape)
New inlet and exhaust profiles (greater lift and duration)
New inlet ducts hand polished
New timing buckets with new surface treatment
New springs for inlet valves

New Mahle Racing pistons
Increased compression ratio (13:1)

Reinforced clutch (discs with different trim and material)
Close ratio gearbox with new longer first gear

Performance mapping with Rev limiter at 13,900rpm
Different exhaust pipe, no cat

Extra Carbon parts compared to stock F4:
front fender
ignition switch cover
rear and lower chainguard protection
covers for ram air ducts
side panels for airbox

Mine specifically-
2000 mi

Modifications:
Technosel seat
Carbon fairings
Brembo radial MC
FBF bar risers
RG3 Midpipe
1 Extra sprocket

Salvage title, though it is street legal and plated, having recently had its CHP and Brake and Lamp inspections. It was totalled due to a slow lowside on the right side, this bike did not need to be totalled by the insurance adjuster as the only mechanical damage was the brake master cylinder, everything else was cosmetic. All important damaged parts were replaced/upgraded. Have side fairing from crash to show documenting what happened as well.

I've seen it in person a couple times & on the track once..... awesome bike for sure!!

Not yet.

I had a guy come test ride it, and put pretty much asking price in my pocket, but I don't think he's ever ridden a bike with the sag set right and lots of rear ride height. It feels pretty racy compared to most off the shelf jap-bikes, and I think it kind of scared him; he passed.

It'll sell; I'm not in a hurry.

He "Passed" or you "Knocked" him off the bike?

Hi Kevin,

I just got back into town after being gone without my computer since Friday.

What "other" forum did you reply on? I don't see it...

I'll be replying to your e-mail right now.
