Obviously a trackday with no crashes is WAY better than a trackday with crashes. And small groups makes for more fun and more space on the track.

Ouch!!!
I'll reword. I was speaking of the new military riders that go out and buy the biggest baddest assed sportbike they can find, just because all their buddies have them. "Get the GSXR-1000 dude, you outgrow a 600 in a month!!" Those were the types of guys that I got in my on base classes. You couldn't tell them anything cause their sh*t don't stink. IF and i emphasize if they passed the class, they would promptly go out to Palomar or Telegraph or wherever, and the next week I would see one of them at the gas station with their smashed $12,000 liter bike in the back of their truck. "So what happened?" I would ask. "Well, ya see, I was out riding Palomar/Telegraph/Sunrise Highway/freeway on ramp and I crashed." "Well why did you crash? What happened?" I would ask. "Umm, well, I'm not sure, but I was going through this corner, and I looked at the guardrail and hit it/tried to go a little faster and all of a sudden was on my ass/was riding right beside this truck and they just changed lanes into me and knocked me off my bike." Anyway, those are the kinds of military riders I was referring to.

Yep. And I had no clue what I was getting into. I also started out as a wheelie boy, but we see how far that went. I'm just lucky that I met up with the group of people that I did when I did, or I might not be here talking to you guys right now.

Sure is going to be hot! Last year, around the same time, I remember seeing the thermometer at around 115!
