iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 6 (56) | Hmmmm...maybe I should post this up under "My First Trackday Experience" but instead I think it's better suited here. First, a huge thank to Mike and his family for putting on such a great event. Thanks to their helpfulness and thoughtfulness, we were ALL taken care of. Second, Chris (SpeedExtreme) I can't express how thankful I am that you let me monopolize your time on the track. You taught me some great lines which really allowed me to work on my form on Sunday. You are an awesome instructor! Third, to the entire gang...Chip, Matt, Mario, Tony, Murray, Marc, Alex, Todd, James, and my own Kevin for being so encouraging and answering all my stupid questions. I must admit I felt a little discouraged on Saturday with all the information flowing in and my own inability to grasp getting "OFF" the bike. Everyone's positive attitude really helped out and on Sunday I was finally able to drop a knee and swing my butt off the bike. I took pictures of my tires and can now proudly say "I did that!" instead of "My boyfriend did that." Fourth, to Rachel and the kids...all I can say is "Wow!" you all rock! It was a lot of work to not only prepare and serve food, but also to help in registering the riders and keeping everyone on track. The girls were a welcome relief with their wagon full of cold water and Gatorade. There were so many smiles over the weekend, and I kept hearing "Wow, what a great motorcycle community this is. I'm so glad I belong." Everyone was truly remarkable, and I couldn't have asked for a better group for my first track experience. P.S. I took a bunch of photos in the afternoon on Sunday and once I figure out how to post them up on a photo site, I'll provide the link. I took pictures of as many as I could, so maybe you'll find yourself there somewhere. No where near as good as Mike's (TrackNet.com), which BTW awesome pictures for an awesome rate. THANK YOU to everyone! |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 5 (58) | This event was sooooo much fun!! Half the fun of these track days are the crazy antics that go on before, after and inbetween sessions... and we had our fair share! Haha! I had a great time hanging out and riding with all you characters. Following Matt, Chris & Diego around the the fast way was great and I learned a lot. It was cool watching Gwen and Alex improve so much! Thanks to Mike and family for the great times and the good food. I can't wait for the next one! Oh yeah... and "Your Mom is a pit bike!"
