I'm shut down until at least October.

My financial situation after the last two track events it pretty bad and I need to get some track debt taken care of.

Edit: I also need to do a bunch of stuff to the bike before I hit the track again.

1.) General maintenance
2.) Valve service is coming up at 16K (I am at 15 and change)
3.) Better condition slicks
4.) Power commander (the 954 glitchy throttle was bugging me)
5.) SS brake lines (Self explanitory)

You have to have confidence in your tires and brakes and the smoothness of the throttle is very important esp. on technical tracks like Pahrump.

You did awesome in spite of your challenges, can't wait to see you on the next group ride.

Very true...it's cool to get better and start to notice how much that little glitch in the 954's throttle slows me down and I would prefer a crisper feel on the front brakes.

Tires are a given.

I think those things will really help with my next round of learning. Then maybe I can keep up with you faster guys.

Judging from when I passed you in turn 1 and left you behind, maybe not...

I improved, but I was still holding back and well within my comfort zone.

I'll have something more for you next time Chris.
