Default SBW and ...The thump at Pahrump...

Could you feel it? (I STILL DO)

I just drove home 8.5-9 hrs up to norcal and I had to pop on here and be the first to say what a great time I had the last two days at Sportbikeswest's Pahrump track days.

SBW Thanks for having the days and for making it so much fun everyone.

Mike thanks man and please let your family know how great you all are!! BASHA!!

House of Motorcycles thanks for big support..

Gabe? What can we say you pulled it off...

i.t. Matt, Diego "We are all about the taco's" 415, Todd the marine, Chris,Lindy and the kids, Johnny Rocket 177 and everyone else I had a blast wish I could have stayed longer but all those "Chelada style" liquid refreshments beat me up I had to roll!!!

What else? Ahh good time, happy times!!

Ok bed now for me!! If I spelled stuff wrongf sorry............................................. ..

Default Pahrump-pa-pum-pump!

Fantastic two days! SBW rocks. Sorry if I got in anybodys way in the "A" group. You probably had fun passing me! Great photos, good food, and one of the sweetest tracks one could ask for.

I just got off the phone with Christopher "Crasher" Caines and he's doing fine. He broke a few bones in his left wrist (no love from "The Stranger" for a few weeks) and will be unable to ride, surf, or work out for a couple months. His gear was pretty worn out and he was looking to change bikes, so the good news; he gets to buy new leathers, helmet, and motorcycle.

Everytime a crash occurs, it always makes you stop and weigh the consequenses of what we do. I absolutely love the machinery, the tire cunundrum, the smell of race fuel, the technical aspects of the sport, the comeraderie, meeting new people (Matt) and the feeling of the tarmac grinding against my pucks. I'ts too bad injuries are a part of this insanly fun hobby.

One recommendation; get a big fan for the riders meeting tent!

Thanks everyone!

I had a great time this weekend, especially Saturday night with "We live by the taco." Riding my Ninja 650 around Pahrump was soooooo much fun.

Mike - big ups for putting on a great 2 day event for everyone. This weekend was by far the best trackday weekend I have ever been involved in. Talk about bang for your buck, Mario walked away with that sweet ass CRF50!

Matt, Craig, Diego, James, Chris, and the rest - it was great working and hanging with you guys!

I want to specifically let everyone in the C group know how impressed I am that none of you crashed and the major improvements you all made by the end of the weekend!

Mario is lucky I didn't steal that Fiddy!

I didn't make any improvements in my riding, but I hope I was able to help someone else with their's.

I must say it was a lot of fun.

So when is the next one Mike?

Wow that was a blast! I have never had so much tracktime in one weekend! It is official, SBW trackdays FRIKIN RAWK! Mike is da man!

Chris, Todd, Matt, Mark, Craig, Jonny, I had a lot of fun hanging out with you guys in the pits and on the track. Thanks for the laughs and the hospitality.

I also really enjoyed helping out in the "C" group. I saw significant improvements in so many people over the weekend and it was very apparent that the control riders made a huge impact. The fact that there were no crashes in the C group all weekend says a lot about the staff.

I'd like to take this opportunity to give special honors to Alex the Iceman because I am so impressed by how far he has come in such a short time. I met him early this year at Palomar Mtn. before he had done any trackdays, and since these last 2 SBW events, he has transformed into a completely new rider. His pictures and video look SICK! I almost can't believe its really him! He is a prime example of what a difference a good track organization can make on someone. Keep rockin Alex!

I got a ton of track footage on my "Disco Cam". JakeR1 and I will be going over it and will put together a sweet trackday video for all to enjoy. There are a lot of people I got footage of, many of whom dont even know I was following them around. We will try to squeeze in as many riders as possible into the video. However, I did work especially with a few guys and you will know who you are. If you are interested in your full length video please shoot me a PM and we can discuss how to get it to you.

Thanks again everyone for a great weekend! I am really looking forward to the next one!

You're too kind Diego...

I am simply a product of excellent instruction, restraint (not getting in over my head even though I want to), and focus.

All the progress I made goes to all of you who have helped me.

The group of control riders that SBW has going on right now is phenomenal.

Where do I start...
Mike, thanks for putting together such a great event. This weekend was awesome. Also, I want you to make sure to let Rachel know that she rocks as well. Her and the kids were workin hard getting all of us fed for both days, and that is a feat in itself. So, please let her know that her efforts did not go un-noticed.

Matt, Diego, Jonny, Craig, Rat, Todd, Iceman, Gwen, Chip, Tony,....umm who else? There was so many great people there this weekend which made the event so memorable. Craig and Jonny, you two freakin crack me up. Matt and Todd...Vaarry Nice, High Five! Gwen, great improvement over those past two days. You were very rigid on Sat, but then on Sun, you looked more relaxed and comfortable with the bike. I am glad that I was able to help you out.

Alex, dude you were rockin! I can't believe how you improved from the 1st day to the next. When you said you wanted me to help you out, I didn't realize I was going to have to work so hard to follow you. You looked very smooth and relaxed through every turn. Awesome!

Diego and Rat, good finally meeting and hanging with you guys. Sorry that I couldn't offer my trailer up for the second night, but my family comes first, I hope you can understand and it sounded like you did. But in any case, it was still fun to be pitted together and B.S. the two days. I am sure that you (Diego) were behind me more than I realized, waiting for the right time to blow by me. Good times!

For anyone else I may have missed, it was good times. I have such a hard time remembering everyone's name with their face and then to put it with the screenname too...I am getting old, too much to remember. But I do know there were so many more people that I met and had a good time with.

Oh yea, almost forgot, Mario, you suck! That 50 had my name all over it. Just kidding man. Good on ya for winning it. I am jealous.

I have many pics that my daugther took this weekend, will post up when I finally get to download them. Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

See what I see here is alot of love going around here. Fella's I am really proud of the progress you have shown here.

I hope Mike and his WHOLE family understand's he is building something here. And one of us said earlier who much much Rachel and the girls did to ensure we were hydrated and fed.. that was no small feet.

He has my support for good, that is for sure.

Hey Rachel can you say "Ketcup is good on taco's?" Ahh come on just say it... Serious those things where soo great with or without the red stuff.

"We live by the taco's"

Oh yeah soo Chris is it still ok will your wife let you hang out with me still? I hope we did not offend.

Ahh and let us not forget the wonderful folks from Arizona who were soo gracious to pop our sore necks!! You guys rock also!!
