iTrader: (5) Rep Power: 16 (42) | Wow, what an awesome time we had shreading tires on one of the most fun tracks available!! The socializing with good friends was superb! We had riders tearing up the track while friends & families were spending time together in the pits sincerely enjoying themselves. So much went into putting this all together & I definately couldn't have done it all by myself. Thanks to our moderators Matt, Gwen, and Deb for working hard to make Sportbikes West hold tight to it's goals & grow into what it's become....... a friendly, clean place to learn about motorcycles & have fun while doing it. Thanks to all that came out & rode so well. We had only 2 crashes the first day after lunch, and "0" crashes the second day!! That says a lot about the kind of people that were at this event, people that had a game plan in their head to ride within their limits, and stayed as close to that as possible. The control riders we were fortunate to have with us for this event did an outstanding job of helping others have the best time of their life!! I did more watching from the sidelines than riding this time out, and I can't remember very many times that I saw a control rider riding by themselves. One lap I'd see them showing someone good lines, body position, etc, and the next time around they would be behind the rider watching their progression. After each session I woud see the control riders in the pits going over everything with the rider, and setting up the next session..... sweet! The many smiles in the pits all weekend long show how great of a time everyone was having despite the heat, and "long lunch" someone was complaining about. Thanks to House of Motorcycles for sponsoring this event in such a big way by donating the Honda CRF50 & H.O.M. T-shirts for this event..... you ROCK!! We look forward to setting up the special forum where we can get quick info on purchases, and for more trackdays in the future. Thanks to Craig Mason for building our Honda CRF50 raffle bike to be one of the sweetest prizes ever to be given out at a track event such as this. You spent valuable time working on it, and came all the way from up North to spend the weekend at the track with us....... YOU ROCK MY FRIEND!! Looking forward to a long relationship with you & Fast50s. Thanks to Gabriel of West Coast Performance Tires (Metzler) for hooking us up with good rubber. Thanks for going the extra mile to get the tires needed to fulfill the needs. Also, thanks for the dirt tires for the Honda CRF50 raffle bike........ YOU ROCK!! Thanks to my awesome wife for working her buns off to make sure we all had the best track experience possible. I love you Rachel....... YOU ROCK!! Thanks to my girls "BASHA" for helping with registration, food prep, water wagon, and the various other things you all did for us!! You were all great out there!! Love you girls soooo much!! YOU ROCK!! Thanks to Mike La Putt with Trackday.net for some of the BEST trackday pics I've ever seen........ & I have seen a lot!! Thanks Mike for coming out and helping us to have long lasting memories of the great time we had last weekend.... YOU ROCK!! Thanks to the staff at Spring Mountain Motorsports Park for inviting us to your awesome track! We can't wait to go back for more!! Thanks to all that came out, we really hope you had a wonderful time & hope to see you back when it's time for another one. ![]() PS: DING- fries are done! ![]() Do you want more?! ![]() ![]() |

iTrader: (0) Rep Power: 4 (16) | Thanks to everyone on the list above and primarily Mike, Rachel, and the girls. I don't know if I can add anything. It was truly amazing experience for me and my family. It restored my faith in sportbike track days as I've been moving away from big tracks towards supermoto lately. It's day and night difference with other "well established" track orgs, especially 3-group ones; and it's even bigger difference between people attended SBW's and other "forum" [crashfest] trackdays... without sacrificing speed at all: the average B group pace was the highest I've ever experienced: 2 mins. I have two questions: 1. When is the next one? 2. How can I help? ![]() |
