so, back to the question at hand - can we get gas at the track or should we just fill up prior to entering the gate?
Come with a full tank and bring a can if you have one. You can not get gas at the track unless you steal/borrow it from someone. You can go into town, about 2 miles, and buy gas if you run out. Keep in mind that the facilities at Pahrump are in the infield. You have to cross the track to get in/out. You can only do that between sessions, so depending on the timing you could waste 30+ minutes just waiting to get in/out of the track.
Thanks for the info! :thumbup Will be arriving with a full tank and 5Gals of extra 91 octane!!

Have been searching everywhere for some Mobil 1 15w50 and it's all out of stock :wtf Tried multiple stores of Kragen, Autozone, PepBoys, Sears Auto... nobody has it, just ridiculous! I guess I will just have to forget an oil change this time... see you guys at the track.

I use Mobil1 because it's cheap and the best. Already did the oil change before last race weekend on the 16th so I think I should be okay...I'll just do it after the track day. I'm all set

It's just been recommended by a lot of folks :thumbup Motul is very good I know but the stuff is like $9/quart last time I checked, that is for the full synth stuff... too expensive dude. Mobil 1 is $4.95/qt.

And try Target or (close your eyes Mike) Walmart in the auto section. I bought a 5quart jug of Mobil 1 15w 50 for $21.00
