What a day!!!!!! Thank you Mike and Mark and all the other Take It 2 The Track folks that were there and made this weekend so much fun! As my first track day, I couldn't have imagined it being any better. I wish I could have stuck around for Sunday, but duty calls. Thank you again everyone! :biglaugh

For a first day this org did pretty well. As always there's room for improvement, but all in all it went pretty well. I'd do another day with takeit2thetrack. Thanks to Mike for setting it up. If a certain someone hadn't high sided and been transported to Vegas it would have been even better.... :biglaugh Know you're probably pretty stiff today. Take it easy.

T'was a great day of riding, even with the chill in the air. It's been so long that I forgot how much fun riding on the track was - will probably be signing up for Buttonwillow in March.

Thanks Mike, SBW staffers, Takeit2thetrack staff and all my friends for making this day fun. I just wish I called in sick today so I could have been out there for the Sunday sessions......

Yea Im cool, the Flex stuff (good drug!!) got me spinnin right now. Would of been a great day for sure!! Everyone's gotta go down sometime, my card came up whether I liked it or not, it was my turn (play on words here!!)

I had a good time, met some really nice people. The food was great, hands down the best I've had at ANY track day. The track org. was kinda rough around the edges but being that it was their first time they did a great job.

I had a blast learning the track and just having a great time. I almost got clip on turn 8 by some guy trying to prove something, he ended up running me of the track and into the dirt. Luckily I managed to keep the bike upright. :thumbdown

Not the smartes move on his part as he was also one of the "instructors" and for that session I was riding the slow group where passing is ONLY on the outside. :bs

All and all it was tons of fun - great Job on setting it up Mike.

Wow the pit area looks pretty wet. Was the track wet to?

You bet! We didn't start running until around 10:15am or so. There were light sprikles on and off during most of the afternoon. It was a strange feeling going throught a turn, knee on the ground and water running over your face shield.

We are going to replace the clutch in the next day or so when the peices get here. I hope to have it done buy Thursday cause we are planning to be at Willow this Friday!!!

All in all we had a GREAT time!! Kuddos to Take it 2 the Track!! Good job!! :thumbup :thumbup
We met lots of cool people. A much better day then when we rode with Fasttrack! I will be sad all year not to be around you guys and the track but come October you can bet we will be track junkies for a few months!!

Thanks Mike for the "Mike" burgers! AND Rachel that was AWESOME potato salad!! Couldn't have asked for a better track day except for the COLD weather BRRRR!!! Well okay I would have asked that our clutch not go out on the bike after the first session!!

I had a great time this weekend. Good to finally put some faces with the names. Once the track dried up, it turned out to be a good day. I won a rear stand and greatly improved on my riding style. The only bad thing was that Chris high sided way too early in the day. But all in all, it was a good day.
