| Canyon Carver | Hey James, Wow I and I thought it was just going to be another trackday report and about how much fun ya had. Glad your alright! Definately not cool that ya crashed, I'm assuming your talking about the chicanes off the sweeper. Going off the dirt in BW has not treated people to well. But dang I'm glad your okay!!! Not remembering what happend is definaetly scary, I've only had that happen to me once and it scared me not knowing what was going on. Look at this way though like I did now you have a new project to get your bike back up to par!

Thanks for being there! Oh, and my injuries (did I list them? lol): Chest feels like Mike is standing on it, ribs on right feel like I got kicked (AGAIN!!!), smal blood-blister looking thing on the middle of my forehead, and a chunk of skin missing on the side of it, my lip was cut and bruised (chatterbox mic lol), I bit my tongue, big bruise on crook of my elbow where the ambulance guy had to stick me twice as we went over too many bumps, friction burn on my right hip, knee swollen up, and middle of my foot hurts now, but probably from hobbling. Other than that, I'm fine! :clapping My AGV Sport suit had only a small tear through about 4 of the perf holes, and other than that, every single stitch held up just fine, and it has a lot of "character" marks now...so now it's been crashed at low and high speed, and I'd have to give it a thumbs up :thumbup Sidi Vert boots are fine, just scuffs from gravel and red paint from the rumble strip, Arai RX7 is scratched and scraped on every "side", and my Deatherage gloves look unmarked, just dirty. (I'm practicing for when I start racing :lmao )

| Know It All | Dang it James! That was scary. Glad you came out of this thing in one piece with only minor injuries. Hope you can get the Suzi beast up and running again. Glad the Arai did its job. Looks like its time for a look at some new gear and one more bike! :biglaugh Let me know if I can help you in any way.

iTrader: (5) Rep Power: 16 (42) | James, sucks big time that you went down yesterday. We got the Red flag on the Front straight, and I was looking all the way around the track to see what had happened so early in the day, and there you were sitting on the ground with an aweful look on your face, and my heart sank. I'm so glad you aren't really messed up bad. If there's anyway you can afford to get a more track style bike, please go for it, and I'll be willing to work with you on the track when I can. GET WELL SOON! |

I can almost formulate complete thoughts now, and I'll deal with the vehicle situations soon enough.

| Track Junkie | All I can say is THANK GOD your ok! It sucks anytime you see someone crash, but to come through the turn and see a friend wadded up and laying face first in the dirt motionless has to be one of (if not THE) the worse feelings one can have. DON'T DO it again! The pass you did in the left before lost hills was ok. I was following a slower rider checking out their lines and making sure they were ok. I seen your front tire and waited to dump it in until you were part way past, so that was all good. I just figured you misjudged our speed due to the rider taking it easy. I followed you for a bit on that lap and then started following someone else that I wanted to check on at the wheelie hill. Followed them and seen you go through the bus stop cranked over. I was actually going to stop and chat to you after that session and encourage you to back it off a just a bit as you were VERY close to dragging hard parts (if you weren't) and I didn't want to see ya lever your rear off. You were riding the wheels off that Kan a tuna and looking very good, but that bike was only meant for so much. You disappeared through riverside as I continued to follow the rider and then as I looked through the turn entering the AFM sweeper I seen you laying over in the dirt motionless at the exit...my heart sank I was the first on scene. You were knocked out but making some nasty noises. I signalled we needed the med unit and kept talking to you trying to get you to respond. Finally after what seemed forever you came to and started to mumble. I got you to stay down for a while as you wanted to get right up. I undid your helmet strap but told you to keep the lid on. You listened to that for a couple minutes. You eventually got up on your knees and against my admonishments (I was tempted to knock ya back down but figured that may do more harm.. :laughing ) and removed your helmet... You were very woozy asking if you crashed (about 5 times) and other crazy shyte. Your pupils were really dilated and you looked like a fighter that was punch drunk. Then the med unit got there and took over. I'm not sure exactly what happened as I didn't see it, but from the looks of the scene you were going wide entering the exit of the AFM sweeper there and from the deep gouge that was in the pavement and then the scrapes after it looks like you tried to lean it in to make the corner even though you were running wide and drug either your peg or that center stand hard and that was it..... Not sure, but that's what the marks looked like. I would recommend that AGV suit to anyone looking for a good suit for a good price. I had the same one in my WSIR turn 8 crash and came out of that without a scratch. Now seeing yours, I'd not hesitate to recommend the suit. Take it easy and heal up!! Oh and I know where there's a track R6 you can pick up for a very good price. |
