iTrader: (5) Rep Power: 16 (42) | My trip started off by looking for a quick place to get tires since Sport Tire Services decided to pull out at the last minute from servicing us at BW :pat I put up a note to see if anybody knew where I could get some in a pinch, and mrXBma found that Cycle Gear could help me out after doing a bit of calling around, but I really didn't want to spend that kind of cash for race tires. Thanks a bunch for the help though mrXBma :thumbup :thumbup I finally remembered that Jerry with http://www.crstires.com has a shop not too far out of the way, and has helped me out before, so I thought I'd give him a ring. Jerry was most gracious by going to his shop, and opening it up for me just to bust one set of tires!!!!!! :woot Thanks a ton Jerry!! :cheers :deathmetal With new tires mounted, I was on my way from Huntington Beach towards Buttonwillow. Found out Deb & Sean were actually going to be on time unlike everybody else to the Dinner meeting location, and asked them to wait up for me, lol. Met up with Deb & Sean, then Rodney (Tractorboy), and had a great time shooting the bull while eating the best burger in town. After dinner, I get a call from the lone boy Kent telling me he'll be at the hotel in 15min. After he showed up, we went inside the office to get "Our" room under the name "Smith" but the girl at the desk wasn't going to buy that one, so I gave her my real name, and admonished Kent that he must promise not to streak again this time!! :lmao :lmao After check-in, I was off to the jacuzzi where Sean & Deb were relaxing, and enjoying the nice evening. We chatted for awhile, then were joined by James, and Slacker for some more of the same. Deb later thought she would be able to go to sleep easily by taking Tylenol PMS or something like that, but it didn't help.........nothing can ever help one get to sleep when their first trackday is early in the morning. :biglaugh :happyb :happyb :woot Went to bed, and awoke to a little h2ohhh on the ground, then headed to Micky D's for the grease special, then over to the track to meet up with the boys. Both Fred, and Freddi were gracious enough to fill in for a couple of our regular control riders that couldn't make it to this event. We got our pit set up, and went to work with Tech, Registration, and various other duties in the morning. The track got dried out by the track people with the blower, and some cars running around for a bit, then we started off with the "A" group for a great start! During the day we had a few crashes, but most of all it was an awesome day with only 2 groups riding for 30min ea session!! :woot We had some AMA boys tearing us all a new one....what an awesome site to watch them slice & dice us all!! Deb did very well for her first ever trek on the track!! :woot It was pure fun to watch her, and see the excitement she had all day long!! I had a few runs with Kenny Perez, Pulse, Matt, and Steve that were a total blast!! :happyb Thanks to Fredball, and rrwanter for filling in, you both did a great job!! Thanks a bunch to everyone for attending another Ti2TT Buttonwillow Monday's Event! *See you all on June 6 for the next round after the Memorial Weekend Event at Spring Mountain Ranch in Pahrump Nevada :wave Ti2TT ROCKS!! |

| Know It All | Thanks for having us Speed, I had a blast helping out such a great crew. Good friends and a great time. Shaggy and I had some fun out there in the afternoon with a little dice we had, that was a blast man! really fast guy. The morning was a little iffy from the rain, but the rain dances really made a difference out there! Even with very little incidents out there, despite Jame's scary getoff before the chicanes,The team really shows its dedication to keeping the riders safe out there, (there was one crash where there was an oil spill almost 1/4 mile long!) -the control riders came out and hurried to get it dried up so we could keep things moving, (used up 3-4 bags of kitty litter!) The very next session was led with control riders showing where the oil spill was under a two lap cautionary yellow then things went underway again. I must say, im very impressed with how newbie friendly this org is. Ive worked for others before where it was structured well, but none as catering as this for the price. I would recommend this org to anyone looking to do a first time trackday but not interested in paying for formal instruction, just good ole follow the leader and good advice regarding riding input after your session is over. PLUS YOU GET FED! :laughing Ti2TT rocks! :thumbup

Wish we could go earlier, but work and money prevents that... Hopefully we will be bringing a ton of the North County People with us! :woot
