Got an E-mail from the Track Club about their Laguna Seca track day for Jan 9 & thought I'd pass on the good deal......

Subject : Track Day at Laguna Seca-Tuesday-January 9th-2007-30 minute sessions and only $200.00 (until January 1st-2007)

Our First Motorcycle track day of the Season is at Laguna Seca, Tuesday, January 9th-2007.

This track day is about to become ON FIRE!

The Track Club has been organizing our full 2007 schedule and since Pacific Track Time's January 11th Laguna Seca date is now SOLD OUT! (We gave Michael a chance to get a head start!) It's our turn to start marketing our track day!

What so different about our track day ?
We are running smaller groups 25 per group.
There are the normal three (3) run groups ; Advance, Intermediate, and Novice (the "Intermediate" Group is almost FULL! )
The Track Club (like everyone else!) have the 92dB sound restriction, STOCK pipes are highly recommended!
The Track Club track days are always beautiful. . . we have ordered Sunny skies and temps around 60 - 65 degrees ! Our good weather karma has always prevailed for our track events!

The biggest news is because of the slightly cooler weather we have decided to give everybody a little bit more chance to warm up those tires on our track day by giving you 30 minute sessions, instead of the normal 20 minute sessions! Since so few people have or own tire warmers the smartest thing as a track day provider (us) is to give our customers (you) the best chance to get some heat in those tires, and what better way than to give you an extra ten minutes per session. The trade off for these longer sessions is that there is still the same 140 minutes of track time that you always get, but instead of seven (7) twenty minute sessions at Laguna , we will be giving you four (4) thirty minute sessions and the final session will be one (1) twenty minute session for the same amount of track time which is still 140 minutes!

Finally for the next forty (40) sign ups or until January 1st-2007 which ever one comes first . . . the price for this track day will be to $200.00 ! (this is reduced from $250.oo-which it will go back up to on January 1st-2007)

Oh well, my exhaust wouldn't pass anyway (probably wouldn't even if it were stock).

I can't pass on these less expensive Laguna Seca days. I can sleep at home, for goodness sake. I just shuffle everything around to make things work.

I was already booked with Pacific for the 11th, btw.
