Great. Just another reason to buy my tires before I get to the track.

Lame! Why did they do that? I was planning on going to the WERA races to watch Paul race at Cali Speedway then get me a set of tires so I guess I'll have to go on Saterday to pick my tires.

Michelin? WTF! Everybody I know that has crashed has been on Michelins. Why can't they sell Pirelli?

You will still be able to get them on WERA race weekends.

People crash on all brands of tires no matter how good they are.

While I TOTALLY agree with you...it seems to me like more people crash on Michelins for a reason. Everybody on our board that reports Michelin crashes tells of the tire totally washing out with NO warning before the crash. I can understand that sometimes it happens pretty quick...but it seems like most people say other tires have more "feel".

Me personally...no idea...I've been on M1's since I've been riding...so I have nothing to compare to...but they work for me There are too many choices out there to mess with a tire that many experienced riders report "no feel" before a wash out.

I have run michelin for 3 years, never had that problem and I killed my michelin man (on the very edge of the tire) last track day i did. Love those tires. Thinking about trying a set of pirelli's however... I like thier new 3 compound tire.

Only two big crashes I've had to date have been on pilot power races. One was in the dirt, so it doesn't really count, but the other was at speed, and definately NO warning. Maybe I hit gravel, ran out of suspension, something, but... went from dragging knee, to dragging elbow, toe, and face.

It's funny, I've never heard of anyone else having the same problem. Everyone else raves about them. Very interesting....

Michelin is also OUR exclusive Vendor..

They're really good.. We wouldn't have brought them on board if they weren't. IMHO, the front DOT's are better feel wise than the tires I ran last year.. The rears are every bit as good. As for crashing on them... Most of the time when someone blames the tires, or something else.. its becuase they're not willing to accept responsibility for the crash themselves, and need something to blame...

Pirellis have given me the same response as previously stated for Michelins. The reason for the crash was my front end was slightly bound and, at extreme lean angle, the front end released and forced the front tire to break loose. It would have happened with any tire, not just the Pirelli's that were mounted up at the time.

I now race on Michelin DOT race tires and have nothing but praise for their consistancy and grip.
