Everyone was fast and keeping a good pace, not to mention running Buttonwillow in reverse was a blast. Had even more fun once I ditched the Bridgestone 002's and mounted up a fresh set of Pilot Races...really impressed with them. Had a blast watching Zemke and Miguel become small specks in the distance about 2 seconds after passing us...unreal how fast those guys really are.

The R71 survived yet another trackday...good thing, cause I need to ride it to bike night on Thursday

Oh, crap! Sorry about the crash, Matt! At least you and Miguel and Jake had a good time....

I'm amazed you guys had sun at all.. it was POURING here at the UTC-La Jolla area... and I mean, *seriously* pouring. Out of my window you could only see a steady gray curtain of never ending water the whole day....

So, crash and all, I'm glad you guys had fun and with more stories to tell us about.

Matt, sorry to hear the news, but really glad you're okay. The bright side is that your race plastics were crap, so now you have an excuse for something that fits without zip ties. Just another upgrade opportunity :-)

Sad news about that lid--it's probably my favorite one out there.
