The only thing I'm worried about is loading and unloading the bike. I'm one person and I've never done it alone before... any tips?
There is always some help at the track

What a day...

My buddy on his RC51 got bumped into B group - later he lowsided at T3. Two of our canopies were blown despite 5 gal buckets filled with rocks placed at each corner. I went off course coming out of T2. So glad I didn't eat it there. Phew!

My first track day went awesome!!
Highlights: Earl Rolouf (SP?) Pitted next to us and ran as low as 1:29 on a stock 05' ZX10R with a slip on and suspension mods, that guy is one fast mofo!!
Friendly peeps running Ti2tt, they let us go out in B and C sessions at the end of the day; there were only a few people running B at the end of the day.
Problems: Struggled with death grip on the front straight; I guess that's what happens when you're topping 4th at the Start Finish and going in to at over a buck 70!
Tried double apexing 2nd, couldn't manage it, 8th and 9th were a thrill.
Mounting new camera; finally found a place that it would work, pulled strap too hard and broke the clip.
Gas!! It wasn't cheap ($6/gallon) and I had to fill up twice.
Can't wait for my next one!

I dragged my knee for the first time, and it was all thanks to Freddie(922). He towed me and showed me some great lines...

Too bad I didn't get to meet some of you there. Next time for sure...

Hey Saeid, I remember seeing you out on the track. I didn't walk around to meet other people, maybe I'll do that next time - I would've loved to have someone to show me a line too.

I have some questions for more 'experienced' folks...
1)what are indications that one is ready for B group? Would an organizer let me try B class out for a session if I think I could handle it?
2)any particular manufacturer of canopies recommended? I spotted many Caravan canopies out there - they seem to have a better frame designs than the ones from walymart...
3)about track organizers... any good/not-so-good ones? in terms services, how they run events, safeties, raffles, etc...? Personally, I don't see significant difference among ones I've gone with...

Lookin' good Saeid!!! In those last couple of pics, is that MrClowny in front of you? Looks like his bike from the pics that I've seen. Can't wait to get out on the track with ya!!!

Semipermeable: As far as being ready for B group, if you are passing people in C group and can hold a consistent line through all the corners on the track, then I would say move up. Just be ready to get passed a little more.
